My Zone.com is a personalized section that allows tenants and property managers to perform a number of advanced operations. To have access to My Zone.com you must be a registered user (it's free). There are two main types of operations that can be
performed: Search management and listings
management.
Searches
Rental search
- Save your search criteria so as to use them during a later visit. By doing so, you won't have to enter them again if, in a few days, you wish to perform another search to find the latest listings that correspond to your criteria. To save your search criteria, click on the floppy disk icon in the top right hand corner of the search results page. Your search criteria will then be shown in a frame on your personalized page.
- Receive an e-mail as soon as a rental that
corresponds to your search criteria becomes available (optional).
To do so, you must save your search criteria, as shown above,
then ensure that the "Assisted Search" checkbox is marked.
Enabled for 30 days.
- Add to favorites - Show favorites To add a rental to your list of "Favorites", click on the "Add to favorites" icon on the "Details" page (details of a particular rental). You will have access to your list of favorites from your personalized page. You can edit this list and the printer icon allows you to create a printable version of this list with all the necessary information and a section to write notes.
- Create additional search file, allows you to do other searches with different criteria
with out deleting your original criteria (see point #1). Additional search files have the same functionality as the first search you performed. You can save your criteria, add rentals to your list of favorites and receive e-mail (optional) when a corresponding rental becomes available. The "Additional search file" means that Internet users can avoid having to register under different names if they want to carry out searches using different
criteria. More details.
- Send to a friend, by e-mail, the information on a particular
rental.
Listings
Listing a rental
- Free listing for your rentals in the Apart-Zone.com database for a 60-day period (up to 3 rentals in the same building).
- See your rental listings so as to know exactly what ads you have listed at
Apart-Zone.com.
- Deleting a listing from our database, so as to list others or to stop getting calls from interested parties.
- Receive periodically a newsletter about site statistics, new stuff, up-dates, special offers etc.

- Receive an e-mail telling you that the 60-day period has expired and inviting you to prolong the listing.

Note: The information below refers to rental searches, but the functionality described is also relevant to classified ad searches and roommate
searches.
If you wish to do more than one search using different criteria for each, (example: 4 ½ rooms semi-furnished and 5 ½ non furnished), for yourself, a family member or a friend and you wish to save the search criteria of each and the corresponding available rentals, you just have to create an additional search file each time you change your
criteria.
To create an additional search file, click on the "New search file" icon in the "Additional search file" frame. Now you can begin a new detailed search. On the results page of the new search, click on the floppy disk icon in the top right hand corner of the page to save the search criteria and to give a name to the file. If you don't click on the icon, your search criteria will not be
conserved.
Note that an additional search, as described above, will not effect in any way the criteria and the list of favorites from the
first search you performed.
To consult the search criteria and the list of favorites from a search file, click on the name of the chosen file in the "Additional search files" frame. The information from this file will be shown in your
My Zone.com page replacing the information of the previous file, which in turn, becomes available as a file name in the "Additional search files" frame. The file that uses your e-mail address as its file name is the file that was created automatically when you performed your
first search.
Additional search files are available for rental searches, classified ad searches and roommate
searches.

If you are a registered user and you check the box "Connect me to this computer automatically", you will be directed to your
My Zone.com page automatically when you visit Apart-Zone.com again, instead of arriving at the home page. This function can be deactivated by clicking on "Disconnect me".

How to unsubscribe from the Assisted Search?
Go to “My Zone” and spot the “Criteria for file X” area. At the
bottom of this area, uncheck the box near “For the next 30
days, you will be notified by e-mail as soon as a rental that
corresponds to your criteria becomes available." You will no
longer receive e-mail notifications about new available rentals.
How to unsubscribe from the mailing list?
Go to “My Zone” and uncheck the box near “To subscribe to our
mailing list or to unsubscribe, click here" You will no longer
receive news from Apart-Zone.com.
